Aprendeu sozinho. Embora intuitivo, Abel tinha ouvido absoluto e aprendeu a escrever música, dominava a teoria musical, fazia arranjos e tocava piano.

Abazagorath - Sacraments Of The Final Atrocity

Cited by many as being New Jersey's premier Black Metal outfit, the corpse paint bedecked act was created in Wayne by former NO RESTRAINTS frontman Nyarlathotep (a.k.a. Dave Wagner) in 1995 in union with erstwhile SEDITION drummer Warhead (real name Chris Demydenko), ex-TASTE OF FEAR guitarist Cythrall and second guitarist Morgul (Daryl Kahan). Morgul is an erstwhile member of ASSUCK, Hardcore act CITIZEN'S ARREST, CXA, TASTE OF FEAR, RORSCHACH as well as having drummed for BORN AGAINST.

ABAZAGORATH issued a self-financed three track EP in January 1996 'Channeling The Ethereal Moon' on the Ancient Music imprint, which elicited strong response. However, line-up changes ensued with Morgul making way for Mithras. Warhead, whilst retaining ABAZAGORATH membership, meanwhile opted to found his own side project vehicle WARHEAD, an endeavour which would eventually culminate in the 'Raping Of Angels' album.

ABAZAGORATH pulled in former MEATSHITS and INFESTER drummer Crom (Dario Derna). The same year Morgul, Nyarlathotep and Crom forged a further extracurricular act MEPHITIUM. This venture issued a brace of demos in 'Ritualistic Coprophagia' and 'Satanic Victory'. Not content with putting his energies into both ABAZAGORATH and MEPHITIUM Morgul cemented an allegiance with vocalist Lord Bucon resulting in ORCUS.

ABAZAGORATH's debut album 'Tenebrarum Cadent Exsurgemus', released in March of 1997 by Elegy Records, received unanimously strong reviews. Cythrall was ousted in April 1997, with Crom now taking up guitar duties with new addition Mithras. In 1999 Morgul usurped his replacement Mithras. Crom would have his place taken at the microphone in early 2000 by Von, the erstwhile singer having relocated and forging ahead with his own project KROHM.

The group quickly built up an enviable live reputation having supported the likes of VITAL REMAINS, SUMMON and SUFFOCATION. The ABAZAGORATH triumviarate of Morgul, Nyarlathotep and Crom also operate in EVOKEN guitarist Nick Orlando's side act, the brutal old school Death Metal unit FUNEBRARUM featuring on the Necroharmonic Productions album 'Beneath The Columns Of Abandoned Gods'.

Abada - Berimbau & Viola

Berimbau e Viola

ABC - The Lexicon Of Love II

While on-stage at a show commemorating the 30th anniversary of ABC's undeniably classic album The Lexicon of Love, Martin Fry had an epiphany. Why not make a sequel? Something that captured the sweeping vision of the original, but also added the wisdom of three decades gained by living through the endless ups and downs of love. Working with Anne Dudley, who arranged the strings on the original Lexicon, producer Gary Stevenson, and a few songwriters, Fry did exactly what he set out to do on 2016's The Lexicon of Love II.
The album gets the majestic, cinematic scope of the original down perfectly, with Dudley's epic string arrangements embellished with grand pianos, some fluid fretless bass playing, impassioned backing vocals, and the occasional moment that, if you close your eyes, almost sounds like 1982 -- not only because of the musical backing, but also because Fry's voice is relatively untouched by age. While he can't hit the same falsetto notes that he could 30 years earlier, he does still sing with the same urgency and power that he used to, and that's very impressive. Of course, there are no tracks here as perfect as "The Look of Love" or "Poison Arrow," but there aren't any weak links either, and the album holds together unexpectedly well. And some of the tracks do come pretty close to the heights reached on the original Lexicon, like the swaggering disco-funk workout "Viva Love," the nautically romantic "The Ship of the Seasick Sailor," and the most 1982-like of the lot, "The Flames of Desire." There are even a couple that might have fit in on Beauty Stab (the guitar-heavy "Singer Not the Song") or Zillionaire (the slickly danceable "Confessions of a Fool").
Throughout, Fry's lyrics cast a wryly practiced eye on the travails of being a failed lover, the difficulty of making a living playing music, and the inevitable march of time. It's a melancholy journey, made even sadder by the strings that permeate everything, but it's also inspiring and always stylishly delivered. Fry and his crew of accomplices could have failed miserably trying to re-create the sound of Lexicon exactly, making it a stale nostalgic exercise that would have tarnished the original by association. Instead, they got at what makes it great -- the over the top romanticism, the audacious vocals, and the widescreen melodies -- and gave it a wiser, more thoughtful update. The Lexicon of Love II isn't exactly a return to form, since their 2008 album Traffic is a hidden gem in their catalog, but it does serve as a reminder that Martin Fry and ABC created one of the best albums of the '80s, if not ever, and they still have what it takes to come within shouting distance of those ridiculously lofty heights.

.44 Pistol - Blues Rock

.44 Pistol are a young, high energy electric blues band. Slide guitar driven, stripped back & dirty, they bring together the laid back country blues of artists such as Mississippi Fred McDowell with the raw electric sound of contemporary bands like the White Stripes. Up-tempo, rough & ready this is music to drink, dance and stomp your feet along to. The band play a mix of originals, re-written old blues songs and known covers

Although based in Stafford, since forming in 2008 they’ve clocked up around 10,000 miles, honing their style at pubs, clubs and festivals across the country & proving just how much gear it’s possible to fit into a Ford Fiesta. The band have received radio play on local stations from Essex to the Peak District, been reviewed by Blues in Britain & reached fans as far away as France and Poland. All of which they have managed without a bass player.

A Day to Remember (often abbreviated ADTR) is an American rock band from Ocala, Florida, founded in 2003 by guitarist Tom Denney and drummer Bobby Scruggs. They are known for their unusual amalgamation of metalcore and pop punk. The band currently consists of vocalist Jeremy McKinnon, rhythm guitarist Neil Westfall, bassist Joshua Woodard, percussion and drummer Alex Shelnutt and lead guitarist Kevin Skaff. Soon after releasing their next album, What Separates Me from You (2010), the band went on a worldwide tour to promote it. Beginning in 2011, the band has been involved in a lawsuit with Victory Records over their recording contract. In October 2013 the band was given the right to self-release a new album until a final verdict is reached. They released their fifth album, Common Courtesy, the same month.

20 Watt Tombstone & Left Lane Cruiser - Death Blues Vs The Dirty Spliff

Led by Freddy J IV (aka Joe Evans) on vocals and slide guitar, with Pete Dio on drums & assorted other junk, and birthed in either Fort Wayne, IN or Hades depending on who you ask, Left Lane Cruiser whips up a frenzied mess of trashed-out punk/blues. The Duo has seen 10 years, 8 albums, and so many tours both in the U.S. and overseas, if you ask them; they likely can't remember. They also are one of Alive Records flagship artists, Home to such artists as Radio Moscow, Buffalo Killer, The Black Diamond Heavies and formerly The Black Keys.

20 Watt Tombstone is not out to dazzle anyone, their mission is simple. Play music they and their fans like, and do it loud!

Formed in 2012 in Wausau,WI, The band quickly formed a friendship with kindred spirits "Left Lane Cruiser", who heavily influenced the band's sound. This album is four years in the making, and was recorded live at 7711 Studios in Milwaukee (Where 20 Watt recorded their first album "Wisco Disco"). Once again, no patch ins, no pitch correction were used. Just four dudes in a room playing loud and recording whatever came out.

72 Blues - Southern Fried

72Blues, is a Detroit, MI, USA based delta-electro rock n' blues band, paying homage to the great blues artists of the early 20th century. The band celebrates 'tradition' and 'authenticity' with their roots firmly planted in American heritage but saturate their blues with a stinging-sweat style of attitude and delivery, making the 72Blues sound - all their own. 72Blues deliver a blend of down south and signifying honky rawkin-blues; celebratin' old time traditional music, swing blues, delta blues, rock blues and nail it to the cross with original and contemporary sensibility. This mob of musicians hen peck and scuffle a devilish blend of country-blues, swamp-blues, gospel rhythms, cotton field chants, gospel-blues and prison-blues. Devil music meets Divine intervention you might say! 72Blues arrived with their highly acclaimed debut CD release 'Said I Would' of 2005, with 11 wickedly raw tracks streamed together seamlessly rejoicing in a 70 minute sinner's sermon. Followed by their sizzlin' 2006 single 'She Like The Fux, Like Electrolux' recorded in Melbourne, Australia and their latest 'Detroit Border City' EP recorded with legendary producer Jim Diamond of 'Ghetto Recorders Studio' in Detroit, Michigan'...

A-Austr - Musics From Holyground (Kissing Spell) 1970

Biography : Released in a limited batch of 99 in 1970, A to Austr's one-off masterwork Musics from Holyground takes the psych-pop aesthetic to an entirely new level. A behemoth (and fun) journey through psychedelia, Musics from Holyground touches on everything from psych-pop and eastern influenced folk to pub ready saxophone jams and vaudevillian break downs, with a ton of other sounds I have no business describing thrown in the mix. The Penguin Guide to Rare Records calls A to Austr's only record "the most sacred UK LP there is," which sort of makes sense considering only 99 folks in the world have an original copy, and it wasn't given the reissue treatment until 1989. Apparently the initial goal was "to write about King Arthur who lies sleeping with his knights of the Round Table until England needs him." This was news to me, as the record in no way, shape or form feels like a treaty on Renaissance knights, rather an exploration of an entire genre, gleaming back and forth from the nuanced psych pop of "Birds" to "Hawaiian War Chant" (which sounds exactly like its title suggests) to "It's Alright", which is basically the Incredible String Band-Love-Zombies collaboration I've been dreaming about for years. I could go on and on about this record, but it wouldn't do any good, mostly because its impossible to describe. Even after listening to it about twenty five times over the past six months, I still have trouble wrapping my head around it, as if its not supposed to be chewed on, merely experienced, over and over again, sort of like life (and psychedelic experiences in general). If this spiked your interest, even just a little bit, I highly recommend heading over to Holy Ground's website and peeping their extremely thorough and insightful history of the recording session, the album itself, and its little known legacy.
