"GARY PICKFORD-HOPKINS burst onto the music scene in the early 70’s as lead singer/songwriter with WILD TURKEY who recorded during their existence a couple of classic rock albums ‘Battle Hymn’ and ‘Turkey’.
Following Wild Turkey’s demise in 1974 Gary promptly joined RICK WAKEMAN and was involved in two of Rick’s highest profile and commercially successful albums ‘Journey To The Centre Of The Earth’, ‘The Myths And Legends Of King Arthur And The Knights Of The Round Table’. Today Gary is an accomplished songwriter whilst still performing with his band. Gary is currently working on new material for a forthcoming studio album by Wild Turkey which will once again reunite him with GLENN CORNICK.
During 2002 Gary went into the studio with some of the best musicians around and recorded a classic AOR album-his first ever solo.
On GPH can be found four songs that Gary co-wrote with BONNIE TYLER and a newly reworked ‘Loving You Means Leaving You’ featuring Bonnie."
